Responsibilities:
⦁ Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and requirements
⦁ Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, and marking gauges
⦁ Cut, shape, and join materials using saws, chisels, planes, drills, and sanders
⦁ Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
⦁ Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
⦁ Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Requirements:
⦁ Proven experience as a carpenter
⦁ Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
⦁ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
⦁ Good knowledge of wood properties and other materials used in carpentry
⦁ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
⦁ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
⦁ Ability to work independently or as part of a team
⦁ Valid driving license and reliable transportation
⦁ Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary
